Van Gogh, Poets & Lovers

Kindly invited by Skye this was actually the first time i’ve been to a Van Gogh exhibition. All works were carried out during a two year period and the exhibition included sketches as well as paintings. Most interesting was getting close and really absorbing the brush strokes. It’s also interesting to think that these works were often painted in fields, and lugged around France; now moving them anywhere involves highly skilled and insured teams
